"Conflict Within"
You remain away
Distant from the surrounding world
Shadowy, striking appearance
Whose mind is always reserved.
Your gray eyes frown upon the world
Drenched in sorrow; Inundated in hatred
Loneliness we do not know
But through your isolation leads to my wondering
My thoughts interchange
What's continuously in your mind?
What emotions are eternally intertwined through your heart?
What amount of suffering has lead you through this pain?
Your past haunts you
Ghosts from the shadows and past
Lead to your unknown, but certain future
You are hiding something
Little things set you off
Such as remarks of your past
Or what you are becoming
All of this just reopens the wounds
At times I find you
Sulking on your own, staring into nonentity
I support you, but you reject
You push everyone out
You're gone longer
Days at a while
The rest you linger in your room
Scared to let anyone in; to find out your verity.

This can relate to a certain relationship we both know so well. Maybe from the shadows of the past can emerge visions of unbridled rays of golden hope and healing. Keep up the writing you have a natural flare, let your emotions and experiences be the impetus to laying down the words. I think you have just begun to discover the real woman emerging from within, don't be afraid to explore your artistic talent.
